Where it all began... Straight out of university, I landed a internship with the Trinity Mirror group. Before long I was employed, full time, in the advertising department. My writing talents were quickly recognised and after 6 months my role was split between the advertising department and training as a journalist. I started out as a travel journalist, visiting several countries and writing up feature articles. I was living the dream at 21.
Other resposibilities included:
